As Pirsan Customs Consultancy Ltd., we consider reducing environmental impacts, improving energy efficiency, and contributing to climate change mitigation as core responsibilities of our operations.

In this context, we commit to:
• Monitoring energy consumption, improving efficiency, and optimizing resource use
• Preventing pollution at its source by controlling environmental impacts
• Implementing and continuously improving practices to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
• Ensuring full compliance with applicable environmental legislation and requirements
• Increasing employee awareness on environmental and energy issues through training
• Continuously improving environmental performance through regular monitoring

Energy and Greenhouse Gas Targets
The Company has established measurable and time-bound targets to reduce its environmental impact:
• To reduce electricity consumption by 5% by 2027, using 2025 as the baseline year
• To reduce Scope 2 (electricity-related) greenhouse gas emissions in line with energy reduction targets
• To reduce Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions from company vehicle fuel consumption by 5% by 2027, using 2025 as the baseline year

To achieve these targets:
• Energy efficiency practices are implemented
• Vehicle usage is optimized and fuel consumption is reduced
• Low-emission alternatives are evaluated

Progress is monitored regularly through KPI-based performance tracking systems using energy consumption and fuel usage data.
This policy supports sustainable operations and reflects the Company’s commitment to climate change mitigation and continuous improvement. It is reviewed periodically.

Pirsan Customs Consultancy adopts as its core approach to conduct its operations in line with sustainability principles, to reduce our environmental impacts, and to act with a strong sense of social responsibility. In all our processes, a continuous improvement approach is applied in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Environmental Management

Reducing the environmental impacts arising from our operations, using natural resources efficiently, and ensuring energy savings are among our priorities. Our objectives include waste reduction, increasing recycling practices, and regularly monitoring environmental performance.

Human Rights and Employee Rights

We provide a safe, healthy, and fair working environment for all our employees. Discrimination, mobbing, harassment, child labor, and forced labor are strictly prohibited. Our Information Security Management System is established in line with the ISO 27001 standard and is continuously developed and implemented in alignment with our corporate objectives.

In this context, we commit to:

  • Protecting our information assets against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss,
  • Ensuring full compliance with applicable legal requirements (including data protection regulations) and contractual obligations,
  • Systematically identifying, assessing, and managing information security risks,
  • Implementing necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure business continuity,
  • Monitoring, reporting, and responding to information security incidents,
  • Enhancing employee awareness through regular information security training,
  • Adopting a continuous improvement approach across all processes.

The Company applies a risk-based approach to information security. Through regular risk assessments, vulnerabilities and threats are identified, and appropriate control mechanisms are implemented to reduce risks to acceptable levels.

The Company applies a risk-based due diligence process before engaging with third parties (including suppliers, service providers, and consultants) to ensure information security compliance.

Within this scope:

  • Third parties’ data protection practices and confidentiality commitments are evaluated,
  • Confidentiality agreements and data protection undertakings are required where necessary,
  • Additional controls are implemented based on the level of risk,
  • Business relationships are established only with approved parties.

This approach ensures that risks arising from third-party interactions are effectively managed.

Access Control and Data Protection

  • Access to information systems is restricted based on authorization levels,
  • All access activities are logged and monitored,
  • Data is securely stored and regularly backed up,
  • Both physical and digital security measures are implemented.

Information security awareness trainings are conducted regularly. Annual training programs are implemented in line with ISO 27001 requirements to ensure continuous development of employee awareness.

Information security performance is regularly monitored, and the effectiveness of the system is evaluated through internal audits and management review processes.

This policy is reviewed at least annually or whenever significant changes occur to ensure its ongoing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness.
